Not sure it's the same effect that they use on the first part. In fact, I'm not sure what they are doing there at all, some sort of active pitch shifting. Your's sounds like you used a UniVibe maybe? Tbh, I wouldn't be able to say how to get that sound so you can't take my opinion for much here! :)
