Meeting my Sweetwater "sales engineer" in person tomorrow

Guess it doesn't matter G.C. or Sweetwater. Some things never change.

Last (and only) time I was at Sweetwater there was a guy there just tearing it up. Turns out he was taking guitar at a college somewhere in IN.

Pretty impressive building, no?
Yes, it is sorta a little bit like a scaled down NAMM show. It's been long enough sonce I've been in a music store, I nearly forgot what they smelled like.

I have been dealing with Sweetater for decades. My newest rep was great for a while then suddenly no deals. Kind of surprising.
But I do still use them, I just don't bother with the rep anymore-no point. Great company for sure!

Oops, I did it again:

Was informed that Chuck sold Sweetwater to an investment group and is retiring. Hope they don't lose their way with new leadership.

Found this. "Surack confirmed that Providence Equity Partners will now be the majority owner." He's stepping down "from his role as CEO and into the role of Chairman of the Sweetwater Board." "The new CEO is long time Executive Vice President and C.O.O. John Hopkins." source
