I'm using a GT800FX for my wife's bass rig to power a Sans Amp RBI through a Genz Benz 4x10 600w 8ohm cab.
It is very powerful and can easily keep up with my rig which is a Mesa PA powering my MK2 through my Orange 4x12.
For small to medium size venues it is sufficient, anything larger would probably require PA support.
