Matrix 3 channel poweramp

Hi guys,

I bought a used GT1500 3 channel poweramp and will be using it through a Marshall 1960 (centre) and a Marshall 1936/. Mesa Rectifier 2x12 for L&R. My question is whether it is OK sometimes to just use one channel for mono (or 2 for stereo) if I cannot take it all to gigs. How do I do this? Do I just leave the empty channels as they are or turn the volumes (I know they are attenuators reall) right down?

There ya go! SS amps are a lot more forgiving than a tube amps in this respect!

No need to connect any "load" to the channels if you only take, say, one cab to a gig. The amp will run fine without loads attached.
