Marshall 100W Jumpered - ¡Ay, caramba!

As a kid, I bought an original battered old Plexi SL 100 with a beat up Marshall 4x12 and wondered why I couldn't get it to sound good in my bedroom! Classic mistake. But once I was in a big rehearsal space and managed to open it up for the first time, well I still recall that sound and feeling. We all stood there amazed - so that was the Marshall sound. A simple A chord felt like magic.

I wish I still had it now, but it was too loud and too temperamental. Nowadays, I have a YJM 100 which is a really good Plexi amp.

The jumpered 100 was the first amp I tried in FW 11 and, so far, the only one I've managed. I dialled it in in to an existing JCM800 patch in less than a minute and then just completely lost track of time.

This model is pure genius! It is so dynamic and responsive and, like the real thing, there are a myriad of tones in there from the guitar controls alone. Really wonderful stuff. This black box has really come alive in recent weeks.
