Mark, I downloaded your patches through the Axe Edit interface and I get no sound coming through when I pull up the patch :( Any suggestions?

Try replacing the mixer block with a shunt.

I put a volume pedal CC on ch 2 of the mixer block. Remove it and you should get sound. Note that I am going out of OUT 2 to the poweramp and guitar cabs.

Also if you are using a Standard you must remove the gate block after the amp block

Btw I will post the White Lion patch tomorrow

Mark, are you still using the EQ-settings with the Atomics?

I tend to still pull some bottom end out of the Global eq.....60 is right OFF.

Wondered why your patches where bass heavy to me. Is there a reason for using the global eq instead of an EQ block... Do you find it give more punch or something? Just curious.

Great tone though man!
Well, one benefit is that you are saving a bit of CPU. Another benefit, you can tweak the global EQ on the fly for various venues/FOH and you don't have to do every single preset.

OK.I'm a newbie.just ordered my ultra this morning.I love the tone you get in your videos mark.thanks for sharing...my question is, can you have the global equal set your way for your patches. Stored to the pre set?that way when you go back to stock presets the global equal would go back to stock?is that possible???

You could stick a graphic eq block right before each output with the global eq settings then set the actual globals flat. I believe someone post a fix for this somewhere.

Hi Mark,

I remembered you using the SPC.
Have you ever tried the EMC Afterburner ? Or do a comparison ?

The SPC is more subtle and not harsh like the afterburner. I much prefer the SPC.

And the 6db boost is enough ?

And how do you kick it in ?
With a push on the knob ?

And go off, with a second push ?

( I think i see such a thing by Guthrie Govens Suhr guitar )

It is an active tone pot, so it has replaced the regular tone control. 0-is bypass, anything above that is a mid-boost. It is very transparent on dirty tones, I don't like it on cleans. It would make a single coil sound more like a humbucker in a clean situation.
