Hi
I was under the impression Rotherh used to use Marshal amps ( early days , fish era ) ?
But after doing a little light reading he's using Groove Tubes Trio preamp, dont know when he started using them.

Trying to get a Misplaced Childhood tone, the marshal 100w plexi could be a possible but not sure what drive for the solo parts.

Any idea what would be similar to a Groove Tubes Trio preamp ?

cheers

His clean stuff is a Roland Jc120 usually with extra chorus, leads he adds the Boss Ds1, the Marshall gets used for heavier rhythm

The Groove Tube was bought around the time of the Brave album Iirc, but wasn't until after Afraid of sunlight where he really started using it

He uses a Rockman for cleans a fair bit

A Squire Strat with active EMGs was his main guitar until he was using the Groove Tube where he started using Blade strats

Now he uses a combination of the old and new rigs

Hi thanks
I saw a thread that have me the impression the jc120 is on the fxiii , I have an FM3 and I cant find it on there so I can only hope itll be added at future fw update.

Used a hi watt for clean with chorus and delay with the super drive for lead seems be getting closer.
Cheers
