Malaki (www.facebook.com/malakiband) is seeking a new vocalist to contribute to recording, writing, touring and showcasing for management/labels. We feature former members of Otep, Trigger Point, and Four Star Youth.

We are a pro band with management/interest, blah blah...Bottom line, we feel we've created something that means something, and we are looking for a pro vocalist with the drive, determination, and talent that will stop at nothing to pursue their goals to the fullest. We have headlined the House of Blues in LA, The Roxy, as well as toured the West Coast in less then a year of being a band.
Some of the bands we like and attempt to rip off graciously include include Alter Bridge, Soundgarden, Periphery, Dark New Day, Thrice, Daughters of Mara, Deftones, He is Legend, Karnivool, Alice in Chains, Sevendust, etc
Our previous vocalist, although very talented, decided he needed to leave the country. The band is comprised of touring and performing veterans in their 20's. Age/image is certainly a factor, and we are preferably looking for someone in good shape and in their 20's. Please no late 30's/40's musicians still looking for their "shot". The band has the following attributes:
- lock out rehearsal room with state of the art PA system, in ear monitoring systems, and gear.
- full light show synced to our live show
- our own professional recording studio
- full endorsement from Carvin Guitars & Pro Audio, Istanbul Cymbals, etc
- numerous management and label contacts, along with interest
- a no BS, no drama attitude when it comes to being in a band
We have many songs that are essentially written and recorded musically, but we need a vocalist to come in and collaborate on newer material as well as perform/record the material that was already completed. If there looks to be a good fit, please email us with examples of your previous work, or a link where we can find some prior recorded material.
