Making Presets with a Tone Match block instead of a cab block

If you make a tone match of your real amp and cab, and create a preset with that tone match block, do you need a cab block in the preset also, or does the tone match block replace the cab block? In other words you wouldn't use a cab block at all in the process, and wouldn't need one when you're done. Is that right?

Thank you so much for the info. It was just what i was looking for. So both ways work.
Which way is working best for most people? If it sounds as good, using the Tone Match block in place of a cab would save CPU.

"The Tone Match block can be used in place of or in addition to a cab. The following general guidelines are offered, but it is in fact possible to obtain usable results with or without a cab block in either case."

"Consider the Tone Match block instead of a Cab block when you cannot find or create an IR of the cab used on a recording."

"When you’re matching a real amp, best results will often be obtained by first creating a USER IR of the amp’s speaker."
