Tomorrow Im loading some gear into my vehicle and meeting up with a friend who does engineering and production. Being gear nerds and fractal fans, we’re going to try making IRs from my cabs as well as a speaker shootout.

I’ll take some pics and video but lunchtimetones is not a/v production equipped ;).

Looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Hoping to fit G12H30, G12H100 and ‘78 G12M25, we’ll see!

Not sure how to host them for downloads afterwards, not sure axechange still sees a lot of use lol

It’s a shame, because it still has potential. I’d love to see it host Blocks Libraries and other things, but it seems like most people just attach presets to their posts these days.

Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. is your best bet.
 
Man that’s a great picture! It will be interesting to hear your take on the IR’s as in do they sound very close to your cabs. If you post them I’ll try them out for sure.
 
Many thanks to Davis for being the dude as always. I will be going back to the studio at a later date to capture my G12H100 1982B and vented G12T-75 1960B. We had a blast!

Please enjoy these IRs of the G12H30 AWH cab and '78 G12M25 "blackback" cab. All captured with an SM57 on the cone and a room mic.

Edit: we did not open the cabs to test phase prior (pretty sure the slant was checked at purchase) and these are the alignments, for those who mix IRs

I tried 'em and they are VERY nice !

I've never had much luck w/ G12H30's ..., but I really like yours ! Nice alternative to the G12M25's that I usually prefer ....

Thanks for sharing...can't wait to take them for a spin. Have you ever compared your vented G12T-75 to a vintage G12-65? Do they really sound similar or is that more internet lore?
