Not a Bug MacBook with OS High Sierra crashes after turning AxeFx on

hi, I have my AxeFx II XL connected to my MacBook via USB.
When I turn the Axe Fx on, the Computer crashes an reboots.
This started happening after I upgraded to the new OS Version High Sierra.
After the restard (Axe Fx still on while restarting) everything is ok.

Don‘t know if the drivers need to be updated.

Thanks in advanse!

Whatever it is, it's not an Axe-Fx II bug, because it's the computer which crashes.

FWIW, I run High Sierra and my MacBook doesn't crash.

No issues, with High Sierra here either. I would investigate the Crash Log, you can typically find the culprit there.

Have you tried unplugging the USB cable from the computer before you turn on the Axe, then plug it back in?

Ever since going to Sierra I've had some weird issues too, if I switch my AxeFx off then on again my Browsers will lock up when trying to play any audio, also when I do a restart on the Mac once this issue has occurred then the Mac freezes on boot needing a hard reset, never had an issue before Sierra. I wish I never updated to be honest.

thanks for the replys. The crash only happens if I have an App with audio running, for example iTunes or a YouTube video on Safari while turning the Axe Fx on. That didn't happen before the upgrade to High Sierra

Are you using a hub?
Is the MacBook a Pro version 2016-2017 model?
Tried zapping the pram and resetting SMC?
Have you tried uninstalling the fractal driver and installing it again?

Same here 10.13 no issues but on a 2013 iMac 2.9ghz,

Hi, I'm running a MacBook Early 2011 with High Sierra Axe Fx XL and it's running perfectly....

Hi, thanks for all the replies. I tested again today, and connected the Axe Fx directly to my mac. And all worked fine.
Before it was connected to the USB-port of may Thunderbolt Display. Don't know what could be causing the problem there.
