Luthier/Tech forums?

The number of dodgy fret dresses using fret crowning files not kept straight is shocking. Or people who use a fret rocker without context or oversight to the whole geometry. Both of these tools cause more damage than good in the hands of beginners who think they know (or most shops for that matter).
Spot on.

Please cut this ugly head off the Tyler
Completely subjective, I love it haha, it is definitely polarising. I too hated it at first many years ago, but now I really like it, along with the Anderson headstocks, they are both my favourites. But I do get why some people really don't like them.

I suspect Andy will have an answer to this but does anyone know of a good, active forum for guitar builders/techs? Luthiertalk.com was recommended as a good source for builders and I've tried to register there but never received the confirmation email, no matter how many times i request to resend it. The forum also looks dead as nails with the only recent post remarking on how dead it is.

Any suggestions? Also for any other good sources of info (books, youtube channels etc.) on the subject.
