Losing Audio when plugging Switch into MFC.

I recently unplugged a switch I have setup on midi channel 2 to operate a unit I have through the FX loop. When I plug the cable into the MFC switch input the audio cuts out for a moment. I went into to the MFC and disabled the switch and tried the same thing. It quit cutting in and out. I put it back the way I'm using it and it did this again. Is this a normal issue when plugging switches into the MFC? The reason I even looked at this is my audio quit coming out of my speakers even though I had an input signal on the Axe. It seems to be working fine now just an observation when plugging the switch cable in the MFC switch inputs.

Well just encase anyone read this I finally figured out what the issue was. My Eclipse Eventide was in the Fx loop and when changing program changes it would bypass for a brief moment when loading a new program. This was causing the output to be muted while the program loaded. I'm just glad nothing was wrong with my Axe.
