Have to reboot even though I switch the audio back to my interface. Have to keep going into Windows 10 settings and chose MOTU instead of FM3. Is there a way to set this behaviour so that it doesn't change the audio settings?
Right click your speaker icon near the Windows clock and click "Open Sound settings". From there, under "Output" click "Manage sound devices". It'll be under the "Troubleshoot" button. Find the FM3 in the list under "Output devices", click it, and click "Disable".
This will keep your PC from switching to your FM3 as its audio output device.
