Looper location

Where is the best spot for the looper in the chain when you want to solo with a different tone than the looped section ?

Or it depends on what you want achieve (or how "different" the tone shall be)
I have patches where I use the Looper, as Chris said, after everything, patches where I have it located before the reverb.

I usually post after everthing, but I noticed that this way, when I record something and change the amp models, the sound of the amps does not change during playback, is it normal?
because you've recorded the previous amp sound. think about the signal flow. the looper isn't playing INTO the amp block so it wouldn't know about any changes.

generally for performance, people DON'T want the looper sound to change. record a clean groove, then switch to a lead to solo over that clean part.

i did that for 2 hours last night at a solo gig :D
