I have an FX8 and very happy with everything else but this defeats me. My apologies I cannot find an answer to this anywhere else.
My looper is set to location: Post Out out and I need to have at least one of the post fx (i.e reverb/chorus/delay/rotary etc) left to ON for the looper to work.
If I then want to switch back to normal preset view to add i.e. DIST. and turn the post fx OFF (to play over the loop) this causes the looper to stop playing.
If I leave any one of the POST fx on, the looper continues playing. Also, activating any single Post fx starts the Looper playing again if it has stopped.
I hope this might be the right channel but any guidance would be great, as I’m desperate to resolve this.
Otherwise blown away and I’ve had this unit for a while - looking to move up to an AX sometime.
