Looks Like We Lost Another One: RIP Leslie West

Never heard of the guy or that band. I'm curious, is this one of those cases of an American band that was world famous in the US but utterly unknown in Europe? Case in point, I like George Thorogood, but he was utterly unknown over here as well until I first saw him at the 1985 Live Aid concert.

Man, 2020 is going out just as hard as it came in. The toll this year has taken on such great artists has been quite depressing. Always loved Leslie's style...man, that vibrato! Kinda like a modern day Django, he usually only played lead with 2 fingers (not because of a disability but just his style) but what ground he covered with just those 2 fingers. EVH was also a fan of Leslie and Mountain.

I was lucky enough to see Leslie West & Mountain at the Michigan Palace in 1973. It was an awesome concert one that I will never forget.
RIP
