Hey everyone. I've seen a bunch of requests on the wish list for some Victory stuff and know that the Cornford is pretty similar because its the same guy. However, the Cornford uses different pre and power tubes and switching those alone obviously doesn't dial in that sound. Has anyone gotten close to a reproduction of these? I've started reading up on the different setting in the pre and power section and how they interact with the sound, but i'm like a month into ownership and my brain can only handle so much. And before its asked, I'm looking for this because in the demos i've seen, it has characteristics of a medium to high gain amp, while still somehow having harmonic breakup like a class a, or at least what i've experienced using the matchless sounds in here, and has a really balanced tone overall. I could probably spend a few days/weeks tinkering, but that means less time playing and writing, so if anyone has a "jump start" preset or setting recommendations, I'd appreciate it!
