Looking for a nice Recto tone

What cab are you using with it? The recto red new with the RW/OH recto cab is massive sounding. The master volume and depth really influence the low end on this one.
 
I'm still on version 7. I didn't want to upgrade till a new version of axe edit is released since I use it so much.

I'm using one of the recto cabs though.
 
I thought 7 sounded great. Make sure your input levels are set correctly. I put a TS-808 drive infront with gain at 0 and volume at 10 to push the amp a bit. Turn the damp to 10 and the X-former match to around .55. Try diff cabs and no mics. A 57 sounds great in a mix bit I'm not sure if you're going for a recorded or bedroom tone.
