For me the stock IRs are a bit dark. Not that they are bad but I have to do some significant editing to get them to have the right balance and cut so I have been making some of my own that seem to fit my needs much better.
I know we all have different taste but I was curious what others think of my approach.
These IRs are designed for modern raw real metal sounds and for me bring the AX to another level. The main amp I use these with is the 5150 block.
This a two IR set, one is the main IR that can be used on it's own called Body and the other is to Cut the mix. I usually run mono and sum them but one could run hard right and left. For that I would use just Body on one side and a combination of both on the other side though Cut can be used on it's own.
