Oh that's a fantastic amp... Man... droool worthy for sure.... I look forward to update containing this beauty! YEAH!
The Mark IIC+ Is currently the most coveted vintage Boogie, selling for twice its original price on average, because of its much praised "Liquid Lead" mode, and also, its warm, clean rhythm mode.
....Then a Forum post.. crowd goes wild...
Can someone point me towards this post of Cliff's (I'm assuming it was Cliff)? I keep hearing about it, but can't seem to find it.
Mr. Petrucci is going to lend us one.
I just finished G3'ing the IIC+. There are four models for it:
USA IIC+: Pull Bright off, Pull Deep off.
USA IIC+ Bright: Pull Bright on, Pull Deep off.
USA IIC+ Deep: Pull Bright off, Pull Deep on.
USA IIC+ Brt/Dp: Pull Bright on, Pull Deep on.
The Pull Shift on the Treble knob is the same thing as the Fat switch and the Pull Bright on the Volume knob is the same thing as the Bright switch. I didn't do any models with the Pull Shift on the Bass knob because it doesn't sound good, there's already too much low end going in the front and the Pull Shift just adds more. It probably sounds good on the clean channel but the clean channel is basically the same as a Mark IV so I didn't see the point.
I own a 76 MK I Hun Rev with graphic. Has the original Altec. Carlos in a box if you can stand to stay in the room with it.
... a Subway Blues on the way.
the classic pole-zero root-locus technique.
You're thinking of poles and root chakras. Different, but also fun. In a different way.I see. Actually, I don't - it's complete gibberish to me. *LOL* However, it sounds like something out of the Kama Sutra.
A Mark I. . . send it to Cliff to model!
Terry.
