Logic Pro X Controlling III (unwanted)

You're not overlooking anything, but as I mentioned above, the problem is Logic is treating your AxeFX as a control surface. Try deleting your com.apple.logic.pro.cs preferences file.

This has nothing to do with midi preferences in Logic.

Any trick to finding that file? I can't seem to find one with that name and I used the hold down "option" while searching method as well. I also manually looked for it.

You'll find it in your preferences folder: /Users/<user name>/Library/Preferences . Hold down the option key, then choose Go->Library from the Finder. Then open the Preferences folder.

Welp, I can't find that file anywhere. Good times. At this point I will just use Midi ch 2 in my III. Thanks for the feedback and suggestions!
