We decided to have a go at the NPR Tiny Desk Concert contest and used some footage from a recent video podcast that some friends of ours do. We did three songs total, two of which will be out next month for the podcast channel, and this one I mixed and edited myself for the contest. This is a new lineup for my band and we're doing a brand new batch of tunes.
I'm using FW 17.03 (.04 came out the day of the video shoot and I didn't have time to update). Using Vibroverb AB for clean (with a custom blend of my Deluxe Reverb combo's IR and the new Beatle IR), and the Energyball for dirty (with Clark Kent's #20 IR). I've got a looper setup ahead of a tape delay, which I use to sample one of my volume swells earlier in the song and I use the "Once" playback on the MFC to trigger it during the guitar solo at the end, while I'm busy playing the heavy riff.
