In the next couple of days I plan on tone matching a bunch of different sounds and settings on my aguilar tonehammer 350 head for a recording session (trying to keep things as minimalist as possible and having to disconnect the axe and plug the head in is undesirable). My question is, can I do a live TM using the di signal direct from the head? And if so what would be the process ie. Do I go into the axe from the guitar, then out to the heads input from the axe, then di back into the axe?
