Yo Dawg, I heard you like controllers...
so try assigning controllers to controllers to controllers that control parameters.
 
Yes, I started out with https://wiki.fractalaudio.com/wiki/index.php?title=Effects_list and used it as a "checklist", then went manually through each block in Axe-Edit. I was kind of hoping that the list would already be in the Wiki... it should be added, but I don't know if I want to embark on the endeavour of keeping the wiki up to date though.

It's not perfect though... take the Delay block as an example: the Run option is only available in the Reverse delay type, but it is also the only type of delay that does not have Drive and Bit Reduction knobs. That distinction isn't made in my list.
 
I had a few ideas I wanted to try out, and then realised "What about the ideas I haven't had, but that are possible!"
