That was part of my thinking.Better for the module connectors to take wear and tear from plugging and unplugging and getting bumped or stepped on than the connectors on the unit itself....
That idiot sure gets around. Seems like every bar everywhere has that idiot. It's uncanny, almost like Santa....I had connectors that stick out get destroyed in the past by that one drunk idiot that decides it'll be fun to come up and dance/sing with the band.
I couldn't find a Temple 34 hard case in the UK that didn't cost a bomb so I went with a Peli Air 1745. I'll be flying with it at the end of the month, so I'll find out then if I've made the right call. Wish me luck!Does anyone know if a Temple board with the FM9 will fit in a Temple hard road case? Wondering if it will be too tall to close the lid.
Gotta love those Fractal profiling amps.
Maybe one of these would be a good option ? They look like they are really sturdy and compact!View attachment 119628
It’s (almost!) Summer Folks!! just finished my downsized 4CM rig (Out 1 to amp,Out 2 to mixer for acoustic gtr )
They do a FM9 specific top plate to give the right cutoutThose seem like a cool idea, but according to pedalplayground, the FM9 won't fit on the bottom.

Yup! that is really hard for me to justify, I thought about doing a small one but they are pretty proud of that one two @ $485+ I'm just not interested in spending that kind of money on a pedalboard. I might try and make one though... Hum.X26 Fractal FM9 $851 Canadian. Plus $75 Canadian to ship to Midwest USA.

It is very nice, but priced out of my league. I only use 1 Mission Pedal with mine.
