Let's see those FM3 rigs!

Hi guys,

I hope you are all good. Update to my FM3 board. I decided to mount both the FM3 and FC6 together. I just figured it was easier to keep them both together.

Swapped my FC12 with Sukh of Zenrigs for his FC6 and some extra Zenrig goodies. I have a separate FC6 board for my Axe III rig also. Never thought I'd be able to just use the FC6 but I just really like using it. Thanks again Sukh I hope you're enjoying the FC12.

All mounted with Sukh's Uni and glow risers. Zen guard protection system on both the FC6 and FM3. Powercon, XLR, USB and 1/4" tails all mounted on the side of my Temple Audio Duo 34 for OUT 1L and R, OUT 2L and R and USB. On the other side I have another 1/4" tail for guitar in.

Finally rehearsing with the band next week and first time using the FM3 in a live situation. It's gonna be strange having everything on the floor near me after using the Axe for so long. I'm sure I'll get used to it though. Using the OMG9 layouts for the first time as well, which makes everything really easy to use. I'll still be taking the Axe out for gigs too!

Anyway here's some pics for you all enjoy!

Looking good mate! And yes, loving the FC12 - as I mentioned, it gave me an idea for something new (that I've now prototyped and been showing on Facebook) to use with my FC12, so very cool we swapped. Glad you're loving the second FC6!

Thanks Sukh, I'm using it for the first time tonight at rehearsals with one of the MF10's. Gotta remember to use Out 1 on the FM3 tonight as I'm trying 4.00b.

I had my first Covid Vaccine on Monday and haven't been very well for the last couple of days. It's just completely tired me out. Getting better though! hopefully rehearsals will sort me out later and take my mind off it all.

I saw your pics on FB, great idea! Look's like you might even sell a few if you plan to put them up for sale.

This is my recently finished project. Power, Output 1 and USB on the left side, and FASlink on the right side. Only missing a decent USB-cable to avoid having to plug anything directly into the FM3. Next up is getting a Duo 17 for my FC6 and additional Mission pedal.

Finished my FC6 pedalboard yesterday. I might swap positions on the FC6 and EP-1, but for now I'm very satisfied.

With the ambition to downsize my live rig I have recently purchased an FM3 to either play through my tube amp or use with a Matrix GT1000FX. I decided to build a custom pedalboard and by coincidence the full setup perfectly fits an old case I had lying around.

The pedalboard is far from perfect, but given that I had to cut the plywood in my appartement without professional tools I am quite happy. The small patchbay to the left is USB and headphones (for recording and backstage warm-ups) and the right patchbay includes input 1, output 2 left (jack), output 1 left (XLR), output 2 right (xlr, but I still need to install this one) and power.

Looking forward to testing this setup out during rehearsals next week.

That back area to route the cables and stuff is slick and super tidy.

Thats a cool setup. I like it. Good work. 👍

Finally got around to securing the FM3, FC6 and the EV-2. I used the 3.5x16mm screws and washers. The wah I might just Velcro on. Or not. I’ve got a Digitech Drop coming plan on putting it on this board unless I find the the FM3’s drop tune good enough. I’m running it 4CM right now and it’s sounds good but realize I have to make my own patches to take advantage of the FM3’s potential.

I like the DIY'er attitude! Make due with what you have and make it work. It doesn't always have to be over the top super expensive to get it done, way to go man👍.

Ok. It’s still a work in progress but I’m feeling like this will be a very giggable rig. I have decided not to mount things to a board so that I can get away with a smaller carrying case. I have a diy 2-button switch and an old wah (my first) that I converted into an expression pedal.

This feeds a PS700 that I am going to mount in an old Sunn 1-12 combo cab. Might try something else to power this but for now it’s sounding pretty good. The cab is loaded with an FX12-200. I might add a reflex port but I worry that it might get too bassy.

Here is the travel case. We sell these at my business. They are actually meant for camera lenses but when I saw how well the FM3 fit in there, I was all over it.

Here's mine - same rig, just on a Temple Audio Duo 17 board.

What is the total length of the board?
Which board is it?
Thanks.

Large Gator G tour case, little trimming on the inside foam but I like the solid road case!

I was working on a more complicated one with LEDs and such but decided to scale it back and keep it simple. It’s a bedroom queen—I don’t gig.

Temple Audio Duo 34
Temple X4 Mod (only using one jack; guitar in)
Mosky Dual Switch (hard mounted; new wires and heat shrink)
Rockboard TRS cables
Lava Cable TS cable
Low Profile XLR cable from Redco
Skin and protection from Gear by Ceba
Knob covers from @Ismaele

Boy that white trim on the FM3 and FC6 with temple board ends really looks sharp! Looks like the br queen is ready for a upscale performance w/a guitarist that's wearing a tux! Good Job, one of the nicest ones I seen in the past year...
