Latency ? in pro tools HD

Hey guy Iam running the AX FX XL+ thru the line input of a focusrite 828 mic pre into pro tools Hd
Channels 1 and 2 for instance and Iam getting a little Latency

Hi jack,
In your pro tools session, what sample rate are you using (48k, 96k, etc.) and what size buffer 128, 256...)?

And are you running any plug in's on the guitar track?

These 2 settings will have the biggest impact over the latency.
 
@Jackp since you are running analog out of the Fractal, the latency must be in your interface and / or Pro Tools?

Try another source into your interface and see if you get the same latency.
 
I run Pro Tools 12.5 Native on Windows.

With the Fractal as my audio interface, I can track with USB. Solid and latency is minimal.
