Latency compensation and recording via USB

I know there has been discussions on this in the past, but I also know things of this nature change with software updates and such and I am just not up to date with where we're at so can somebody explain to me if there is still issues with correct latency compensation when recording the AXE FX through USB? Also it seems to me that the DI copy of the signal is always misaligned with the wet signal. Is that right? Is that something that corrects itself once you use the same DI signal to then re-amp and record another wet signal?

That problem has been fixed in version 1.14 of the usb firmware.

So if I have firmware ARES 2.0 I shouldn't be experiencing this? If so is there a reason my DI signal is not lining up with the wet signal when I record to a DAW using USB?

I'm referring to the Axe-FX III. If you're experiencing that problem with an older product, you'll have to use the workaround here:
