Has there been some kind of change in priority for the modifiers/expression pedals?
Since upgrading to 10.* my expression pedals have been really laggy when they previously worked great on the exact same patch. If I cut something out of the patch to reduce CPU usage, it seems to help. But still doesn't seem quite as responsive as FW 9. I have been running in the neighborhood of 90-92% CPU and it's always been fine. Now it seems like I need to drop it to the mid-to-high 80's to get me pedals back in line. This really sucks because I had finally optimized a patch that will work for 90% of all the music I play, but now I've got to make the tough decision of what effect block I need to do without.
I'm running AxeII 10.02, MFC 2.16, using the cat5 connection.
It first cropped up on 10.0. Tried upgrading to 10.02, no change.
Tried upgrading to MFC 2.16, no change.
Recalibrated pedals, no change.
Tried while connected and disconnected from USB/Axe Edit, no change.
Added a brand new expression knob from Mission, behaves the same.
Made sure the modifier params were reasonable, set tracking (or whatever the pedal delay parameter is called) to 0.
