Kala bass Kala Solid Body U-Bass (5-String, Fretted ) + Axe FX II = ?

I am thinking of getting a Kala bass Kala Solid Body U-Bass (5-String, Fretted Sat Nat Ash) | Sweetwater.com ? Heard 2 acts play live with it, then I tryed one in the store. Once you get acustom to the "rubbery" strings it was pretty cool on a regular bass amp. Has any one tried there luck with the AXE FX II?

Haven't tried one with the Axe, but barely escaped NAMM this year without buying a solid fretless. Great sounding/fun playing.
