I've been thinking of coming back to this amp. I'd like to hear it *without* the cab 'air'. Also what IR are you using?

I believe I was using one of German cabs. Not sure which one. I did a reset on my Axe without backing my patches up. I will be working extensively with JVM amps over the weekend and try to do tone matching with my actual JVM as well.

Axe II is just one amazing unit of goodness!
