I just got my AxeFX last week and I've been having a great time dialing in lots of amazing sounds (and consequentially not sleeping very much...). One of my bands recorded a demo a few months ago, and I was never happy with how the guitars sounded in it. Also, we did it live so there was only one track through for guitar, whereas the song really could've benefited from more production. So tonight I decided to redo the guitars, and wow! What a difference! I used the Brown, Fryette D60 More, FAS Modern, FAS Lead 2, Deluxe Reverb, and Super Reverb patches, as well as an SVT patch i made to reamp a DI bass track (which was way easier than I thought it would be). What an amazing piece of equipment! This is going to change how I record everything from now on.
