Stupid question - how do I insert tonematch ?

in axe edit 3, click an empty block, right click and choose "tonematch" for the block type. Are you wanting capture something in particular? There's a few steps to the process once you insert the block.

Sorry - my question was poorly worded.

How do I insert the tonematch you posted in the Axe Exchange into the Axe Edit Gris ? It’s not included in the preset.

If you downloaded the IR and the preset (It's in the description on the youtube video) you would import the cab IR like any other cab then add the cab block and pick the firepower IR.

Is tone matching in the III any better than when it was launched years ago?

This is my first experience with it (Axe fx 3) so I can’t answer past versions but tone matching has always been on par from what I see in past versions. It’s all about the source audio you are putting into it.
