John Mayer's $4000 Reverb

I don't hear anything special about it compared to the Axe-Fx.
What do you guys think?

Bricasti reverbs are actually amazing. Wish I had one in the studio.
I have to be content with a few of the sampled IRs.

Never would need this in a live rig, but they are absolutely amazing sounding.

I left to look on ebay for a deal on a Bricasti M7.

A buddy of mine has a Bricasti. It sounds brilliant.

Mayer has a penchant for posing with his ostentatious toys, quality of the reverb notwithstanding.

I have a friend who uses this when he mixes his bands live. Other people think he's crazy to bring such an expensive unit for live shows, but he thinks it doesn't get enough use at his home. That's a nice show-off reverb for sure. He often tends to put a loooong reverb to vocals, crank the mix to 100% and just let it ring. Sure sounds good.

I saw the subject and I thought Bricasti. I HAVE ONE! They are indeed great. I won't bring it for live shows. It lives in the studio.
