Seems like they are adding the prefix "JC" to the new S and RG J-Custom models

Would love to own a j.custom one day, although I do have a strong-ish preference for no inlays or offset dots over the ToL. Doesn't make any sense, since the inlays on these are gorgeous, but still. Maybe I need to look into a 1680 or a 1608..
 
J-Customs are simply beautiful and very well built guitars. I have owned about 10 of them over the years. I have a friend who lives in Japan and would bring me one back every once in a while after he would look around for me. I've had a few really nice and limited models. I just wish they would put stainless frets on these at the prices they are going for. As I have gotten older, I have found that I am not as comfortable on the thinner necks that these have and thus sold them all off at various times.

Beautifully crafted guitars, regardless!
 
those ones seem to be turning out to be pretty much non-sellers. The showed up in masses already a while ago on ikebe on higher rates, and it seems they don´t sell too good. I actually like them, but I think for RG meanly thought as rock/metel-axe there are much nicer j.customs on there site at same price.
Ikebe of late pretty often had custom orders of RGs with weird combination of vai-ish inlets and golden hardware, although the golden hardware on this one is not too bad combination..... I think there are much more sexy j.customs out there
