Until V5. I've always relied on my amps to get the tones and feel that I wanted.

Now suddenly with V5 the pedals just work. I'm really getting into the drive pedals. Suddenly they are very musical and very controllable. Very nice for just a change of shade and not a whole new color.

I'm off on a new path of adventures that I never would have considered before V5!
 
It's the same drive pedals actually. The difference is the dynamic amp/cab interaction, possibly the biggest advance in modeling since Stephanie Seymour.
 
Right - I understand it's the same pedals - they just seem to work more transparently now. I noticed it in moving from the Ultra to the II, and now with v5 even more-so.
