Yes, I know you've all missed me for the past few weeks on here... ;) ... but I've eschewed the electronic, digital world for a while and been in an amazing location learning how to build an acoustic guitar.

I posted a 'day by day' thread about it on the Acoustic Guitar Forums if anyone is interested in checking it out...

My First Acoustic Guitar Build... - The Acoustic Guitar Forum

From chunks of Australian wood to this in 2 weeks... (Don't look too closely or you will see my mistakes and gaps!!!) :)

Oh, and where did you do this, and how much does it cost? Looks like an amazing experience!
It's literally 15 minutes from where I live in Melbourne, Australia, (suburb of Eltham to be exact). It’s an artist’s colony built in the 1930’s called Montsalvat – really cool place! There are resident craftsman of various disciplines, one of which is Chris Wynne who is a Luthier/teacher.
