ISSUE loading cabinet models into AX8
BACKGROUND: I made 24-bit /96khz wave files by outputting a sine sweep from my DAW into my Fishman Aura Jerry Douglas pedal and recording the output of the Aura pedal back into my DAW. I did this for all sixteen Aura programs. I then used Voxengo Deconvolver to create the final IR wave files.
ISSUE: I used the AX8 edit cabinet manager to load the sims. I gave them a listen by selecting them one at a time as a cabinet in an AX8 patch. The first three worked but the others would mute the sound. In attempts to re-try the loading I discovered that the load process had inconsistent results, either the cab would make sound or not. Repeatedly unloading and reloading each sim eventually worked until I got all sixteen working. So, no changes were ever made to the sim files but after failing to load several times they eventually loaded successfully.
