Is there meant to be a hum when using the axe fx II through an amp!?!?!

Ok so I recently got my axe fx and am loving it, the only thing is when I play it through the effects return of my tube amp I get this loud horrible hum!! Is this normal?

Are you using humbuster cables? Check the manual.

You likely would; if you had them connected and powered the same way. You are experiencing a ground loop.
