Is there any advantage of importing 96Khz vs 48Khz IRs via Axe Edit 3?

I know that:
1. Axe III support 48Khz natively
2. Axe Edit 3 would down-sample the 96Khz IRs to 48Khz if the former is used for importing.

Now, I am curious whether Axe Edit down-sampled 96Khz IRs would end up sounding better than the original 48Khz IR potentially?

The reason for asking this, I see some user claimed this to be the case, e.g.

Any truth in that? Thanks

OK, I did some A/B blind comparison between the two, e.g. importing 48Khz and 96Khz IRs into Axe III via Axe Edit from the same vender, I can not hear or feel any real difference besides placebo effects.

Not surprising, I guess...
