Is the AX8 very susceptible to induced noise?

Right? I didnt't know that, I always read it helps reduce squeal when using hi gain or at high volume. Ya, learn something every day!

Potting pickups does reduce squealing feedback when the feedback is caused by microphonic pickups. But it doesn't reduce electrical interference, which is a different thing.

Other people have had problems with noise as well. For me it is caused by RFI from my LED lights and monitor being picked up by the pickups. I never had that problem with any other modelers.

That might perhaps be a fault on the part of the guitar pickups being prone to induced interference rather than the Ax8. I will take my strat with kinman noiseless pickups next time and if I get the noise swap guitars. I wouldn't like to be blaming the Ax8 in the wrong while in fact it's the guitar. A few more gigs with it will tell. In my case the guitar, the Ax8 were both new so need few more gigs to see what develops but if I discover anything of note I will share it with you.
