Is it possible to record AXE-FX3 into a phone or tablet via USB?

Is it possible to record into a phone or tablet via USB? Android or Apple - I am open to suggestions. This would be a really convenient and lightweight set-up for recording in singer/songwriter events with little to no time to set things up between performers. It would be really nice to be able to record all 8 (7) tracks directly via USB. Putting the phone in your pocket afterwards is fast and means one less thing to guard - compared to bringing a labtop along.

Are you asking about recording an AxeFX? Yes, the AxeFX III and FM3 are class compliant usb devices and you can record them into an iphone or ipad using the camera kit from Apple to convert usb to lightning. There are a number of DAW apps for multitrack recording.

I do this to capture song ideas into Voice Memos all the time. Works and sounds great!
