Is it just me, or has the FRFR vs Real Cab been resolved.....

I was rehearsing last night using a Q12 FRFR and it just sounded like any other decent 'real' guitar cab.

I am very glad that my FRFR doesn’t demonstrate the terrible off axis response and ice pick highs that guitar cabs have. I get the same tone pretty much wherever I stand. Still feels different than a cab in the room though!

Q9+ is a definite step up in terms of tone but the other thing is that the more you use FRFR the more you become used to how it sounds.

For me I just love knowing that what I hear on stage is what gets pumped through FOH, and yes... the lack of off axis response issues and head slicing beaming effect using a real cab definitely help.
