None of the sources that you posted state that the Tri-Chorus will not be available for Axe II. Like Yek said, speculation is useless.

Let’s hope we get one more “kick at the cat” with some of the new goodies we've heard about.
I can’t justify an AxeIII after going from a Standard, to AxeII then a Ax8.
Love the form factor of the Ax8/sound and await the next version of a all in one floor unit with the newer tech.

This is what I'm doing too. If the new AX8 has half the processing of the 3 it's still more than the Axe FX II and more than enough for me

Bro, you are trying way too hard. You have no more of a clue of what is or is not coming to the 2 (versus anyone else here who is not in the confidence inside the Fortress of solitude inside the secret volcano base at fractal headquarters).

But whatever you do, please don’t talk Cliff out of the little bit that he is willing to do.

You seem to be either pestering for free shit or complaining about some future feature set for the 2, or a lack of insight for the 2 at a time when FAS just had a death in the family.

And importantly, right at the launch of their newest product, where all their attention is a focused. They seem to be burning the midnight oil just trying to kick boxes off the loading dock. And you appear to want them to go write code ... for a legacy product. Seems like poor taste.

Same here. Sold my II because it was overkill for my actual needs, got a ax8 and was happy with that, but the III sounds like a fun ride so I’m getting in on the ground floor of that one.

I don't see that anywhere in what Cliff said. Anything requiring excessive amounts of work won't make it to the FX2, but that doesn't equate to "amp modeling only".

Your third speculation was that nothing beyond amp modeling would be ported. This is not supported by the links you provided.

That post was in a thread about UI bells and whistles, not Ares modelling. My question was whether those were not ever implemented, and we haven't seen any progress in Axe 2 UI at all, because of Axe 2 hardware limitations.
What he said - Those are not Hardware limitations, and it would be possible to have them, but no updates for Axe 2 will happen, because working on Axe 2 is too much work with no financial benefit. I agree, and I fully respect that.
I believe that includes Tri-Chorus, because the same financial logic applies to ANY work done for Axe 2, not just UI stuff, which supports my third speculation.

However, he did say he'll port some Ares stuff . That's the only thing he said he'd be porting. He did not say anything about porting anything else.
Unless I misunderstand what Ares is... Is Ares just amp modelling, or is it the whole package, including effect blocks?. Pretty sure it's just Amp modelling. Like, G1, G2, G3, Quantum, and now Ares.
