Is 10" depth case good enough?

I want to get something that takes up as little room as possible, and still allows me to place things on top (computer monitor, etc)

I am looking at the following case: https://www.audiopile.net/R3UE-10

When I had the Axe Fx 2, I had the same case but it was 2U and was 14", the axe fx 2 also had a depth of 14" and at the time I was worried the case would be too small, but it wasn't at all, still a good amount of room from the end of the AF2 to the end of the case.

I'm wondering if this should be the same with the AF3 and the 3U 10" depth case?

That particular case looks like it would work fine- "has a 10" rack depth measured from the front rack rails to the rear rack rails". The rails look to be inset @ 1" front and back so it's actually closer to a 12" depth without the covers/lids.

4U Shallow /Axe 3 = Perfect fit

I use the Rockbag RB 24310 B...3 unit. Just perfect size and so easy to pack up and carry along and has just enough space in the back for cables :)

I use a 10 u deep gator case and it has a lot of room..
I haven’t measured but I’m hoping to be able to be able to put an Fc12 in it for transport I’m pretty sure it will fit.;)

Not sure how much space you need but I have more than enough space to route all of my cables and keep the case closed.

So all the cables are connected and routed to the patch bay in front of the rack as in the picture -- and again -- I keep the back of the case closed at all times.
