I have tried to follow the discussions on IRs and have now decided to test some of the ones available and possibly even try to do some myself. However, having no prior experience in this field, it somehow seems complicated. Accordingly, my question is: Is there a FAQ/Manual/HowTo on
1) Installing and using existing IRs and/or on
2) Creating IRs from scratch?
I know the information must be available scattered around in various posts, but I haven't found it collected in one spot. I admit that I am still completely ignorant (at least) concerning IRs and want to make sure that I don't overlook valuable information before I start. Maybe it isn't necessary with any guidelines since the processes are obvious and self-explanatory, but if anyone has already compiled step-by-step instructions, a hint in this respect would be appreciated.
