I feel that anything that could happen after the first year would be my fault, and I baby my equipment. but then again there's always that other jealous guitar player with size 14 shoes

I tend not to do extended warranties unless the product I'm buying has known issues. All of my Fractal gear has been bulletproof.

I just checked with Fractal. You can purchase the extended warranty anytime within the first year.
