Internal routing to use L&R outputs for amp and FoH?

So, I want to use an amp on stage with no cab emulation. I also want to run a line to the front of the house that DOES have cab emulation. I use my effects loop for an external unit, but I do run MONO.

So, question- can I end each patch matrix with a mixer that splits my signal and sends one shunt straight to the left output and the other shunt into a cab model and then shunt that to the right output? Will this allow me to run the left output on the back of the AXE to my amp on stage and plug the front of the house into the right output with a cab?

Thanks,

Phil

If I understand you right, I run this way:

I go (for instance) WAH - DRV - AMP - CAB - REV -DLY - left out to FRFR (then out of that to FOH, but you could just run directly to FOH...)

Then I have a shunt right after AMP (the formatting on the board wouldn't show this correctly). which goes down to another branch which is REV - DLY - FX loop, which is out2 to a clean poweramp and Mesa 2x12.

I think in theory you could pan a cab all the way left, and only go out that one for FOH, then plug Right into a poweramp I think.

So, to clarify, you are suggesting that I not mess with a mixer module and extra shunts for creative routing, but rather, just pan my cab model module all the way to one side and send that side to the mixer?
