Installing boot EPROM

Mine did not come with instructions, maybe that's normal. I did just contract Support, but If someone can point the way before they have a chance to answer...it's ready to install, spread out on my table.

Also removing the top flat panel unplugged the fan, not sure where the plug is for that. I'll keep looking, can't be that hard to find a 3-pin male connected, but just in case...

No gig for a week, so no huge rush.

Thanks!

I got the chip and jumper installed, easy enough. But it won't load the new FW. Have tried changing buffers as Mark suggested. So dead in the water for now. No big deal, late here anyway.

It is cool to see inside the "box."

You should never post here asking what to do with something that support should handle. I understand being anxious to get this on with, and there is great expertise here, but poking around in the guts of your box without definitive word from the folks who build and support it is asking for trouble.

Maybe this will help. This are the instructions I got with mine a while ago.
